We featured this super sauce recipe once before in our Bolognese, but it is very versatile and can be used to boost the nutrition of just about any Italian recipe. 

Our protein bars provide the herbs and seasoning to make this savory sauce super tasty.  As an added bonus it has 22g of protein + 11g of fiber!

Ingredients (Yields: 1 Cup)

  • 1 Bar - Spicy Herb Protein Bar
  • 1 Can (14.5 oz) - Tomato Sauce

 

Prep

  1. Blend Protein Bar and Tomato Sauce in a food processor
  2. Simmer blended sauce in pot to desired thickness (~10-15 minutes)
  3. Top your favorite pizza or pasta
  4. Enjoy your snack w/ benefits!
